I had to see a doctor this morning to get a refill for one of my meds. Synthroid to be exact. When the PA was taking my blood pressure she started shaking her head. I was kinda worried. She said my bp was 138/100. Holy crap. I then noticed she used a 13 inch cuff. It was actually 138/78 five minutes later and I had taken no xplode about 45 minutes before I got there. Still scared me.

Yeah, you have to use the large cuff size to get an accurate reading. Just got a reading of 122/88 this morning at the doc's office. How has that synthroid worked for you, JT? I tested just over the lower limit on t4 again so my doc is putting me on another trial of synthroid.

Crg I know they are treating a certain thing called hashimotos and that is the protocol they used. Saud for me the way they found it was my anxiety. My anxiety is better. I still have it and am on effexor, but it is much better. The negatives are that I sweat like crazy and until the synthroid kicks in at morning time I freeze. I also had a massive weight gain of 40lbs in a month combined with the anxiety by the way.

Doesn't your liver convert T4 into T3? Why not just take T3 and skip the middle man?

Your body needs both of them. I tested normal levels for t3, but low on t4. The body converts t4 to t3 when it needs to.

^ ^ ^ No kidding, it was from the dbol? I'm on dbol right now myself, and my bp was normal.

Ahh, I see. I only have a basic uderstanding of how the thyroid works and interacts with other organs, so I was just curious.

Two months ago I would have killed for a 130/100 reading.

Just had a work physical two days ago, 122/78! Booya! All I changed was adding some hawthorn berry and cut out additional salt in my diet. Dropped it nearly 50 points systolic and 40 points diastolic.

^^^ damn bro be careful with that 170/120ish? damn that is crazy high. I would have passed out if i had that reading.

Yep that is scary high. Salt makes me swell and when I get swollen I know my bp is up. Ive never been above 88 on bottom but the reason I have never done tren or dbol is that i have several guys I know who had bp issues with them. I just don't want to end up on meds for bp again. I kid you not, I didn't have trouble getting an erection but I had no sex drive on ziac and it wasn't as "woody". LOL
