Is it common to sleep less while cycling just about anything? Besides when I get insomnia, if I get a "good" night's sleep, I sleep solidly for perhaps 6 hours, and then I suddenly wake up. Maybe that's because I'm hungry at that point. I often find I'm dreaming of food right before I wake up, but I digress...does anyone get a normal full 8 hours of sleep while they are on cycle?

Man with me its kinda hit or miss. Most of the time i sleep like a baby while on. I sweat a little more but that doesnt necessarily wake me up. Most of the time ill get a full 8 hours. But i do have nights about once a week or so where i just cant seem to fall asleep i think its because my mind is racing about growing lol.

^ ^ ^ I get that sometimes myself. It feels like I'm literally growing right there on the bed. I have to purposefully disengage my mind so I can sleep.

not me I'm all fucked up- on or off cycle
always sleep or never sleep there is no in between for me

sometimes I'll sleep 12 hours straight then other times I'll sleep 4 hours and that's that...

I dont sleep less but I notice I sweat like a bastard at night. I wake up and the sheets are soaked.

^^ Doesn't help that I have a 2 year old who takes up the entire bed, pulls the sheets off, and kicks me in the face and head. Even on sleeping pills I struggle, on cycle it's far worse. This is part of the reason im exhausted all day every day.

LOL,I know how that is.I have my 3yr old little girl half the week and she always wants to sleep in my bed.How can such a tiny person manage to take up a whole king size bed?And then to get the crap slapped out of you when u do get to sleep.

Sleep like garbage. I don't think I have slept 8 hours in the last five years. I sweat like crazy on gear as well. I feel my best with about 6 hours sleep.

If I don't get 8 hours I usually won't go to work. I like to get 9 or 10. But I'm also heavily medicated. I'm all about the chemistry... all the way.

when i was a kid and using gear, i swear i didnt need sleep. But now days, i find that sleep is a good indicator on how well your body is functioning. If you require more than 8 hours, your either over training or over using,

less than 8 your body is functioning well and your on gear.

I've gotta have at least 7 - 8 hours of sleep. If I don't, and I keep getting less than that on a consistent basis, I usually end up crashing and getting sick which f*cks everything up. I've had to get a script from my doc for some generic ambien.

food ALWAYS wakes me up

no matter what i eat during the day, no matter what i do or what time i go to bed i ALWAYS wake up at least twice to eat :-)
