slin dosing question.

i know this is the dummest question but i thougt id ask anyway just incase i was gunna OD with my first shot.
when i bought my slin it said it was 100IU per 10ml (its in 10ml vials), and i get it today and on the box/ vial it says that its 100iu/ml - 10mls.

so does 10iu's measure to the 10 on a slin pin or 100?

The 100iu/ml dosing sounds correct to me. Can you upload a scan/pic of the label? If that's the correct dosing, then yes, the 10 mark is 10iu on a 1cc slin pin.

not sure how to upload a pic, but on the box and the vial is say's that its, '100iu/ml -10ml' but that mean theres 1000iu in a 10ml bottle. does that sound right? lol i feel like i should know this already. when i was ordering it, the customer support told me (and it was the discription on the site) that it was 100iu 10ml, but that might of just meant that it was a 10ml bottle.

hah, yea i got straight home and wanted to do a trial shot, then though i might of been about to shoot 100iu, so just thought id better ask.

any slin users reading could you please confirm this for me? all humalog would be dosed the same so how do you dose yours?

i think i got my answer, i just read that there is 1000units per bottle.
now i just need to make sure 'u' is the same as 'iu'.

Yes, that is what it is. 1000 units per bottle. That means that the 10 mark on a 1cc slin pin will give you 10iu. Just ordered some humalog myself, gonna stock up for a big one.
