And McGaret, lighten up on the kid, he's a few fries short of a happy meal : Quote from Mikeswift
I know, I know, I should know better - Good idea on cleaning the gym - When
I started at a real gym (at 16) the owner always let a kid clean the place for
his membership. I always had a part time job so I could swing the $30 bucks
(or whatever it was) a month. I used to bus it to and from before I had a car
and the gym I went to was in a rough neighborhood - that was part of why it
was so cool. If you want it bad enough ect.. When you been around as long
as I have you see a lot of doers and a lot of talkers.
And finally - Malic, if there is no possible way to get to any Gym or weights
then do what ever you have to. For example: Chest: do 10 sets to failure
of push-ups with your feet elevated (on the bed or something) Do shoulder
raises with two heavy books - sets of 50 if you have to. Legs: hold something
heavy and do squats - sets of 100 if you have to - do everything to failure.
This will get you in shape - I have done this myself when, shall we say, I didn't
have the freedom to get to a gym. When you can get to a gym do the opposite,
HEAVY with low reps for a while to break it up. Hey, just my opinion but it does
help. Mcgaret
