Unbearable inject pain... really need help!

Ok fellas, we have all been here. When you have that God awful inject pain and dont know what to do. And as most of yall know Im a straight to the fact kinda bro. I usually inject in the glute with a 1.5" 25g pin... well Monday I used a 1" 25g pin... never used a 1" before but thought I would be ok, my roomate uses them all the time. 1.2ccs(300mgs) Test E... MY ASS IS KILLING ME. It actually feels and looks like I have a baseball in my right ass cheek. Now I have questions... did the oil not get into the muscle deep enough and is swelling up, do I have an abscess? How much longer will this last? Its been since Monday, Ive never had pain like this before with an inject, EVER. Ive been chewing pain pills like its my job and they still arent strong enough to kill this. I cant sit on my entire ass, only my left cheek, makes driving damn near impossible, and now my back hurts from having such piss poor posture all week. What do yall think is the deal? Please someone just tell me, "you didnt get it deep enough into the muscle, it will only hurt for another day or so and youll be fine"..... cause damnit, Im about ready to amputate my ass!!!

damn, I hate reading shit like this. my first inject will be monday morning and I hope I don't run into any major problems. hope that shit is gone in a day or two man.

You need to go see a Doctor, sounds like an abscess to me.

well, since monday is a long time. Ive had injects that turned red and sore from not injecting deep enough (1" as opposed to my usual 1.5"). But it went away after about a week.

Might want to get it looked at. It should be getting better, not worse.

Well, its not red nor hot... I dont think its an abscess or staph.... I just really think I didnt get it in deep enough, still unbearable pain. Ive been taking Naproxen (anti inflammatory) and Ultram (for pain) but all in all things still arent getting better.

an abscess deep under tissue can form without redness or burn.......just pain.

Sometimes it's high levels of BA that cause irritation. If it doesnt go after two weeks you have to see a doc.

I had something similar I treated with advil and was gone in 9 days.

The heating pad seems to be loosening things up but the pain is still there..... crazy swollen. Usually you cant see when your ass is swollen but you can definitely tell in the mirror. Im giving it 2 more days then going to the doc and spilling my guts. Probably for them to give me the same meds Ive already been taking. Man, this always sucks... goes with the saying... no pain, no gain.

Yeah, there could be several things going on here, though, I'd wait on seeing the doc, unless your doc is already in the know.

Like Cyphon said, could take 2 weeks. I've had some of the worst one's in my glute. I've gotten golf ball size lumps that have taken a bit more than a week to go away. Though I was injecting more than 1.2 CCs, more like 3. Probably being a high BA, maybe too fast of an injection and not going too deep. If you're going to use a 1incher, bury that bitch in there.

Odd though that you're not red or warm? Give it a little more time. I know massgae is nearly out of the question, try a heating pad and a hot tub or hot bath.

I've experienced the same problems before but never lasting that long-if your not running a fever and it's not hot to touch then your probably clear of an abcess but shit man a week is a long time to be carring something like that around
hell I didn't even run into that sort of problem when I was shooting Super Test 525...which I don't recommend to anyone by the way FUCKING PAIN

I'm like you - hate going to Doc. Even if it is just a little better I'd wait a couple
of days. Its when it keeps getting worse you dont have a choice. Keep us posted.

one possiblity I haven't heard mention is debris....good chance there was some tiny particle in the gear, maybe dead bac or 'dirt' for lack of a better term. swoleness could be from your bodies reaction to the foreign material. To be safe if you use that gear again I would refilter.

SoCO, hows that thing coming along, by not injkecting deep enough into the tissue the oil could be gathering and not disipating fast enough thus you would have some bad irritation and soem lite swelling.....glutes, i always use a 1.5 and i'm pretty lean, i use 1" on my bi's and tri's as well as delts.....that heat pad shoudl mloosen things up a good biut though....follow up as every one suggested....if it is not gone down by end of the week go to a doc bro but it sounds like you should be fine by the end of this week. Went to the Doc today and spilled my guts, I mean, I cant work... so I need a Dr's note. Doc diagnosed me with a Seroma....didnt give me any meds or anything, said the only thing that will help it is time, maybe 2 weeks. No pain pills, he said that pain killers arent good in these situations because if you cant feel where it hurts you will sit on that area and irritate it even more, that its best to keep pressure off the area.

A seroma is a pocket of clear serous fluid that sometimes develops in the body after surgery. When small blood vessels are ruptured, blood plasma can seep out; inflammation caused by dying injured cells also contributes to the fluid.

Seromas are different from hematomas which contain red blood and from abscesses which contain pus and result from an infection.

Thats messed up - went to the doc and he just said to wait it out! At least you
know what it is and its temporary. (and got your note) What did he say about
the "juice"??
