Jesus God, I just came back from a stint in Vegas, only to feel unbelievably weak and small afterwards. For six days, I ate only twice a day, lifted none, and now I feel and look much smaller...I even lost about 7 pounds.

I did chest yesterday, and my bench was about 20 pounds less than what I normally could do. My curls were surprisingly better than before, but today, a day after, I don't feel sore at all and I am feeling depressed because of this. Do any of you experience such a thing when taking a week off completely?

I am hoping that I will be back to normal in a couple of weeks, now that I am back on my eating/lifting schedule. I wanted to start my second cycle on June 16th, but I don't want to start unless I am back to where I was before I left for vacation.

I was off for almost 2 months this winter after ending a cycle because I was working 12 hour days (nights actually) 7 days a week. I tried to eat enough, but being in the cold, I couldn't get enough food. I lost a bunch of weight, but as soon as I was able to get back to the gym and live a normal schedule, I came right back.

goddamn man, that SUCKS! I went to Dallas for two weeks, ate like shit (although I did have tons of red meat), drank shitloads of Shiner Bock, and didn't work out the whole time

That said, I still bent over rowed 365, did corner t-bar rows with 7 plates, and managed to crank out 8 reps with 405 on deadlifts despite the fact that my lower back is still fucked up from like two months ago......oh yeah, I also shrugged 7 plates either side with the hammer strength shrug machine, too. Chest next day, I did drop 3 reps on my bench, as I was only able to push 315 for 9.....but seriously, my back's so damn sore I thought I was gonna have to stay at home

YEAH BUDDY!!!!!!! LIGHT WEIGHT, BABY!!!!!!!!!!

two hours on a hooker is considered a workout...
I don't agree. If I'm spending money on a hooker I expect them to do all the work.

I have had some of my best training sessions after a 1 week layoff-much stronger on almost all lifts-most likely due to being fully recovered as opposed to being on the verge of overtraining.
I think you will be back to where you were very shortly-Don't get discouraged!

That would be one expensive cardio workout!
