i hear alot of ppl dieting and drinking 3 gal of water a day so for the past couple weeks ive been doing that and all i feel is verl bloated... many ppl say they get bone dry drinking 3 gal a day... I was thinking maybe everyone has a dif water balance and im sure carb intake has to do with it as im taking in around 100 grams a day.... and I understand this has impact on water balance ,what do u think the perfect sodium potassium balance is for maintaining a nice "dry" physique while cutting? .....
 
If you are cutting for a show, it is a balance of sodium and water depletion(throw in some diuretics if needed) that will dry you out.
I am one of those that drinks 3 gallons of water a day, but have cut back since I have a big tendency to hold water very easily.
And yes, I am using femara to help control that.. works great.. again competitors are different that normal guys dieting so I don't necessarily recommend any of what I do to non-competitors...
 
are you on cycle?.... So femera by itself off cycle would infact help me retain less water everyday living?.... do you think I should try taking in maybe 2 gals a day and see how that works?..... o and i messed up im taking in around 16 liters a day which would be 4 GALLONS!!!... i think that might be the problem
 
The only think besides pharm diuretics that helps me shed the water is gatorade and high doses of caffiene, strange huh? but it works for me.......and ive tried just about every damn method available.

Drinking excess water will completely throw your bodies sodium/potassium balance out of wack.
 
when i was in the military we had a guy wqho drank 2 gallons of water and he died because if u drink more than 1.75 gallons a day u will flush out all ur electrolytes and basically stand a chance of killin urself
 
What, i drink 2 gallons of water and have been for years. I dont know that if you drink 12 gallons of water you could and chances are will die but i would have to dissagree with ya on 2 gallons.
 
the question to ask for the millitary guy who died from the 2gallons of water a day is what was he eating....if he had very little nutrient intake then i can assure you that death is possible. and i iknow some of the millitary training exercises and FTX's they do, they dont get to eat that much so a calorie and nutrient deficient diet would allow someone who drinks that amount of water to easily flush them selves of electros and valuable nutrients
 
it was just a regular field excercise as far as i know, and i dont know how much he was eatin but it was in the marine corps news paper.
