Whats a "Bump"?

I see from time to time bros givin bumps. What does this mean?

J/K... a "bump" just moves that particular thread up, or "to the top"=TTT, just brings it up higher in the order more than likely making it more visable again for others to see, thats all.

Usually it is to keep the topic at the top of the board so more people can see it. Say you post something that you found out and most people haven't heard about it. If someone bumps it to the top of the forum when it gets pushed off the front page, more people we be likely to see it. The Sticky posts are attached so everyone sees them and the bump is someone manually doing something similar.
