Since im on pretty low carbs 80 or less on weekdays, ive been bumping cardio up to an hour 4 times a week post workout. 640 cals burnt usually each session, heartbeat is not to get above 130. Whats your favorite when cutting? Im not a huge fan of HIIT i stick to palumbo's long and slow duration.

on the treadmill, long and slow is my gameplan - I will never do that HIIT crap

When cutting, I stay strictly to slow cardio. When I'm bulking, I'll throw in a HIIT session or 1.5 mile run once or twice a week to make sure my endurance stays up.

Treadmill on a nice incline of about 6 at about a 2.4-2.6 pace. That gets my heart rate right where it needs to be to burn fat.

Treadmill is good, but I like the elliptical too. I actually own an elliptical so if I can't make it to the gym, or if I wake up early enough I can do the cardio part at home which is nice. I agree with long and slow. I'm not really a big fan of HIIT.

I wish I had a gym quality elip. My knees kill me after the treadmill. I usually do treadmill because I have one. I am looking at buying either a road bike or a mountain bike. Some friends are planning some 100 mile ride in colorado next year and it would be cool to go. If you have martial arts classes at your gym give them a shot too. The beginner classes aren't very intense but I would bet most of the advanced classes will help you drop some weight and add flexibility.

i do bike, elliptical, stairs, kickboxing, and juijitsu ground work. the defense classes are hit type to me. the machines are 30min medium pace. 130 to 140bpm

I mix it up as much as I can per week : Low intensity 45 mins threadmill, swimming, 1 HIIT session ( sprints), heavy bag punching. For me, keeping things fresh gives me the best results. I never get static with the same boring cardio or else my body stops responding. Also, Im due to try those Cosford Complexes... If anyone has tried them?
