Since I had my daughter I have had more rest days then gym days..I have never been so strong in my life..If I was able to afford more food, I would be much bigger as well...I am now of the thought process that over-training is prevalent for most lifters and rest is far more important IMO...however I do love working out and sometimes I have to force myself to walk out even though I could stay for another hour.

I embedded the video for ya brutha, please try to embed videos and not link to outside sites, thnx big guy

I never train more than 3 days a week now. Usually 2 and I'm doing pretty well with this pace although I do feel like a lazy slug and have been gaining some bodyfat

I've found that as I've gotten older I need more time off to allow my joints time to heal

a few years ago I met a guy in the gym that was in his mid 50's-the guy was a machine

never took time off and now he is broke down bad-knees, elbows, shoulders all have been operated on and he can't lift anymore due to the pain

My gym is only open 6 days a week and I used to train all 6 days religiously (2 days were just clean up work on small muscles), but now I'm only in there 3-4 and I feel much better and actually enjoy the off days a lot more. Not to mention it's just enough of a break to really make me kill it when I'm in there
