Unless your name is Francis Ngannou, there’s been no stopping Blaydes and that held true at UFC 242. Abdurakhimov entered this encounter on a three-fight win streak, but that was stopped in emphatic fashion by Blaydes. “Razor” took Abdurakhimov down at will before finishing with ground-and-pound in round two.
That made it back-to-back wins for Blaydes at the time and he’s currently on a four-fight win streak with eight wins in his last nine fights overall. He puts his streak on the line against Derrick Lewis this Saturday in the main event of UFC Vegas 15 at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
