Both women are in orthodox to start and it’s Anderson who takes the center of the cage. Anderson does have really long arms.
Anderson lands a leg kick to start things and Nunes tries to catch it for a takedown but fails. She then steps in on a big right hand that lands but Anderson takes it well. A weak jab from Anderson allows Nines to land a huge right hand that hurts Anderson!
Anderson is wobbly and Nunes fires another right hand that has Anderson in all sorts of trouble! Anderson goes for a takedown and that is not a good choice. Nunes blocks and steps over to mount. Big shots and Anderson rolls to belly. Nunes briefly goes for a RNC but as Anderson moves, Nunes transitions to an inverted triangle choke. This is locked in and over, just a matter of time. Turns out, it doesn’t take much and Anderson taps.
That was an absolute obliteration. Zero trouble for the champion.
