“As of last night, I met up with all my people, I met up with everybody,” Nutt said. “Last night, we made sure that we were refunding all the cash, no guests were allowed, nothing was doing anything, we were taking care of it for COVID and making a COVID bubble. We were trying our best.
“Unfortunately, I have now met some of my new friends here and the show can’t go on. So everybody that was planning on coming, you don’t need to come, it will probably save us some time and some cash if you don’t come. We want to do everything with the best interests to provide good, healthy domestic tourism and international tourism in the future.”
Nutt praised the officials present and reassured people that he still encourages future trips to Phuket. He added that Fight Circus Vol. 3 is “on pause,” not cancelled.
MMA Fighting spoke to a Full Metal Dojo official who confirmed the postponement news. The promotion is considering setting up a live stream with previously filmed footage to air Friday, but has not scheduled anything at the moment.
I endeavor to bring you the greatest show ever because I know you need it. We just can't do it tonight and I can't apologize enough but it's out of my control. You guys and gals keep me going so take care of yourselves please. See you all in Thailand soon I hope. https://twitter.com/FullMetalDojo/status/1380508177888862213
