The matchup pits two 145-pound fighters who are undefeated in the octagon and need to go through each other in order to face marquee opposition.
Allen brings the longer UFC winning streak to the table, having defeated seven consecutive opponents and nine including bouts outside the octagon. The 23-year-old Brit hasn’t lost a fight since 2014 and most recently outpointed veteran Nik Lentz, though he hasn’t fought in 15 months.
Yusuff carries the same layoff into the cage, with a decision over vet Andre Fili marking his most recent appearance in the UFC. That win extended his current streak to six fights, which includes four in the octagon and a successful Dana White Contender Series appearance.
