thanks man, this series holds a special place in my heart (as corny as that sounds). i thinks it's the timing when i came across them, life was just good. grilling all the time, committed to fitness and watching these animals get after it...it was so synergistic and inspiring. i've never wanted to hit the heavy bag more than after watching rob get down on one! such a cool look at Thai culture too.

Great life for sure. Liked the vids good post. Some of the editing was a bit lame. Jumping from person to person. Just to kill time I thought.
I remember living in thailand and India on the sort of money they talked about for many years. Good times. Sucky suky five dollar. Lol

Mate all depends on where you want to stay. If you want a little hut on the beach on one of the islands then we are talking dollars a night. But a hotel with air con or just a fan. Cheap maybe $15- right up to 5*****.
Food is cheap 100 Thai you can get a very nice meal. But padthai. Noodle dish. Is like 20-30 Thai. I'm not sure on exchange rate but 70 Thai is about $1- 1.40. Let's not forget this was early 2000 -2001

What I will say is the more you go the cheaper it gets. It's called farrang prices. (Foreigner prices). Lol. I've been to a street vendor before and let's not forget I lived there for like a year so knew how much shit was and they gave me the bill it was a lot. Cheeky fuckers. But once we started shouting at them in Thai it soon got brought down.

Yeah it was cool. Every other day I would take the boat from my apartment and head to the park around 5 ish. they had there own gym stuff just bars with different size concrete stuck on them but who cares.

yeah I see what you mean. He is like a foot away that some great hip flex. To be so close like that and land a head kick is prety impressive.
I can't even get chest height no more gone are the days of all that painful kickboxing leg stretching. Where the guys lifts up your leg and puts it on his shoulders or raise it above his head lol ouch I remember the pain.
