I heard UAL stock lost millions over night just on this one episode. As bad as this was, I think it was the airport security or CPD that is doing the actual dragging the Dr out, so I would think they would have some culpability as well. Its hard to believe UAL offered 1K, plus free voucher plus overnight stay at O'hare hotel and there were no takers.
Either way, this was the worst possible solution to this, the issue was one of the flight crew had to be in Louisville, you woulda thought they could have booked them w another airline that departs about same time!

I'd be like, "it's not my fault you don't know how to keep track of your seats available, or know how to count, for that matter. You want me off, you better step up with a bigger monetary number, along with multiple free flights, then we can talk". How is it this guys fault that he PURCHASED a ticket/seat, because he has to be somewhere, and because the airline can't remain accountable for their logistics, he's now suffering and inconvenienced? Granted he screamed like a bitch, but still I'm on his side for this one.
