In the main event, kickboxing superstar Tenshin Nasukawa fights Koji Tanaka, while the co-main event is an MMA bout between bantamweight champion Kai Asakura (15-2) and veteran Shoji Maruyama (18-12-1).
The event takes place at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. local time. It will air early Sunday morning in North America and is expected to be available through pay-per-view on RIZIN LIVE. RIZIN 22 and RIZIN 23 are currently available to watch for free on FITE TV, though it is not yet known if a replay of RIZIN 24 will also be made available at a later date.
Also of note, lightweight prospect Koji Takeda (10-1) returns to RIZIN to fight Shooto and PFL veteran Yuki Kawana (16-4-5), Yusuke Yachi (21-10) meets Juri Ohara (26-18-3, 1 NC) in a lightweight bout, and strawweight standout Rena Kubota (10-3) fights Emi Tomimatsu (15-16).
