U.K. stalwart Cage Warriors has its next champ-champ after lightweight champ Mason Jones stopped Adam Proctor at Cage Warriors 116 to win the promotion’s welterweight title.
Jones, nicknamed “The Dragon,” finished Proctor at the 4:31 mark of the opening frame to add a second title to his collection in the headliner of Saturday’s fight card, which took place in Manchester U.K.
Here’s video of the finish.

Mason joins Soren Bak (featherweight and lightweight) and Conor McGregor (featherweight and lightweight) on a short list of two-division champs in the British promotion, which has sent dozens of fighters to the UFC. Afterward, Mason, who’s unbeaten in professional competition after nine fights, called his shot in the octagon.
“I’ll be ready to go in a week, in two weeks, in four,” Jones said after his win in a direct message to UFC President Dana White and matchmaker Sean Shelby. “Find the biggest, deadliest lightweight monster you can find and I’ll go out there and dismantle them. Dig me up the biggest monster you can find, and I’ll put them away in two.”
