Now it appears the undefeated UFC middleweight champion has added his father to that list of pre-fight strategists who offer him advice to ensure his record remains unblemished.
A few weeks prior to his showdown with Paulo Costa at UFC 253, Adesanya was rocking pink hair but then he suddenly changed it just before his fight. He then promised to explain the reason behind the change after touting his pink hair in the lead up to the event.
Question yourself cuz you’re probably stupid.
You probably think you have the answers, you ain’t got the answer Sway!!!
No one fucking knows unless you know.

Following a dominant showcase where he picked Costa apart on the feet before finishing the fight by TKO in the second round, Adesanya detailed the piece of brilliant advice he received from his father — who he nicknamed “Dadesanya” — for the change in hair color.
“Shout out to my dad. He said I’m going to blind him,” Adesanya said during the UFC 253 post-fight press conference. “I’m going to blind him with my jab and when he’s compromised with one eye, and if I take the other eye out, if he sees that pink hue, he’ll still know where my head is.
“He’ll know that’s where my head is and he’ll just aim for the pink hue. I was like you’re right. Like a good boy, I listened to my dad. He’s a smart man.”
Considering how Costa usually comes after his opponents with powerful hooks and knockout power, a head full of pink hair would give him the perfect target even if his eyes were compromised.
Adesanya’s father was obviously onto something and that gave his son just another piece of the puzzle that helped him prepare for what was a dominant performance at UFC 253.
In the end, Adesanya took aim at Costa’s legs before taking out the head with the second-round TKO but that advice from his father will probably keep the reigning middleweight king from changing hair colors again before future fights.
