walking lunges

Ouch, walking lunges the day after taking my prop! In the glutes.
I know, Iknow, the pain is only temporary! Get over it...

Walking lunges are great I know what you are saying gets you working hard as hell. It is like doing cardio at the same time as lifting sometimes. But it is one of the best shapers when it comes to legs.

Bilter- walking lunges are either done with dumbells holding them at your side or a barbell rested on your traps. Stand erect and take a step forward, bend your knee but don't let your back knee rest on the ground. Get back up and do the same with the other leg. Try these for 10 reps or so each leg. Make sure you have lots of room. Make sure your back is straight and you don't bend over.

If you watch the Ronnie Coleman "Unbelieveable" Video it is the exercise he is doing outside on his leg day.

I recently started hitting these hard to bring out my glute/hamstring tie in. You don't have to use much weight...I think Ronnie was using 185 in Unbelievable, of course he did like 40 reps across the parking lot!

excellent exercise to help bring out cuts in the legs. we do these usually with 30-40 lb dumbells walking down one side of the track. i go down one side and kidrok does his set back down to the other!!!
