Bumping up insulin naturally for anabolic reasons.

I have been on igf so I check my blood sugar after my workout creatine and carb intake. I was at 172 today after that. I am taking celltech but am almost out, but I also ate some easy mac. Im addicted to it and figured after a workout was the best time. LOL. Anyways I know insulin is anabolic so do any of you guys check to see what you blood sugar runs up to so you can see if you are really getting an insulin spike. Mine has never been over 150 or so until today but Ihad a ton of carbs and after the igf i hit 130 and then 15 minutes later was around 110.

nope bro never have tryed that! and i dont get it it? u said u were never over 150 til today and then said you were 110? did i miss something sorry if i did and its a dumb question

he was at 150 till the IGF then 15 minutes after IGF application it dropped to 110, Ive never tested my bloodsugar maybe i should buy a meter and start.

i guess the problem is i dont know how that shit works and no idea what is normal and what is not sorry

haha me either bro i know below 80 is starting to get pretty low and in the 40's you start getting hypo i think. I dont know whats considered high enough to get more slin?

Going from 80 to 70 is when you start feeling the effects of going hypo. Below 70 is when you are definitely hypo. If you get down to 40 or below, you are in severe danger of passing out and going into a coma. Blood sugar should always be around 100 - 120 when checked randomly between meals, preferably nearer to 120. On the high side, it should not go above 160 unless you've just eaten a meal. If you consistently test higher than 140 - 150 when checked randomly between meals, you are diabetic either type 1 or type 2, and you need to get help.

glad you cleared it up i wasnt that far off haha. Is this something any normal person should monitor? I get my blood work done fasting every 6 months and im always good, What are your thoughts about the original question? does it help put you in anabolic state if you get your natural B/S up to 150+ pwo?

Thanks for explaining to Presser. That is exactly what happened. If you feel dizziness after working out or if you don't eat for a while those could be issues with blood sugar. Another thing to consider is that gear ups the metabolism and it is easier to go hypo if you aren't taking in enough calories. I know many pros manipulate insulin with injections but I was just wondering if some of you shoot for a certain reading to know your insulin levels are primed so to speak. thanks
