Testosterone cream/Androgel/Testim benefits thereof vs injectables

I consider Testosterone cream to be much superior to the Androgel/Testim variety and injectables. First off Androgel and Testim are a 1% solution alcohol based. The cost of Androgel is outrageous. For a month's supply it's like $500. Now same cream made from a compound pharmacy is $50. You get also get the cream made to your specifications and nice smelling. Androgel smells like vodka. In the cream I get a 7.5% solution per gram. Now the benefits of the cream I feel are greater than the injectables. First I get a steady influx of the T all day long as the skins acts as a depot. Second, I can actually control when my T levels are highest. This is done by strategically placing the cream on at a specific time each day. This means I can enter the gym with Blood Test levels at the highest point of the day. This ensures the best possible weight workout possible and unbelievable pump. Now proof is always in the pudding.
Blood test levels
T total 4554
Free T 950
Estrogen 64
Now why do I prefer the cream over the injectables. The injectables are to uncontrolled as allowing to much to enter the blood stream to fast. Then their is a higher level of amortization to estrogen among other things. Remember, Total T really means nothing. So much of it becomes bound to Sex hormone binding globulin that it is not biologically available to perform it's activities of protein synthesis on the muscle cells. That is why Free T truly is HORMONAL GOLD. Free T is unbound and does it's job.
My dose was 1 gram 7.5 % cream am/1 gram pm/25 mg clomid.

By the way. The makers of Androgel(Solvay pharmaceuticals are being sued for price fixing)those Bastards.
Also look at the cost of cream to Free T levels and it is only pennies.

I do well with the gel.
My levels went from 14 to 3512.
My doc also stated that 3500 is unheard of and levels that high are stroke levels.
Androgel smells like rubbing alcohol.

^ ^ ^ "Stroke levels?" What gives him the idea that you get a stroke from having high testosterone levels? BP doesn't necessarily go up just because of high test. I'm curious about the cream now because my doc already freaked out when my level went just above 1100 soon after a shot. If my levels spiked as high as you guys, he'd probably take me off everything.

It was actually a she- and since I was only supposed to take the androgel for test- no other meds. The funny thing was that when they took vitals that day, BP was very normal- nothing high. Again, it comes from textbook learning but then you read stuff like this:

Higher levels of testosterone can have significant health benefits for some men, such as being less vulnerable to high blood pressure, heart attacks, frequent colds and obesity. These men are also more likely to rate their health as "good to excellent" rather than "fair to poor". (Studies show self ratings of health correlate highly with physicians' assessments.) On the downside, some - but not all - men with higher levels of testosterone are more likely to engage in behavior that cancels out the beneficial effects of testosterone.

Well, that's certainly my case as I was on 300mg/week for about nine years, and I felt great, my bp was completely normal, and cholesterol was 129. But because the level tested high, doc freaked out and reduced my dosage. Go figure. Nevermind how I felt and what benefits I was getting out of it.

Went to the doc again today.
Test was down to 2172 - still stroke levels.
I was told to cut down androgel to every 3rd day.

how much of your skin do you apply it to? like entire chest, or a small surface area?

Ive wondered about that too. My test levels are borderline and if I was on it for hrt how I would respond. Im curious to see where you apply it as well.
