I am the weakest...

I'm the weakest 250lb bber on the face of the Earth!!! I swear to God its embarrasing sometimes. I train extremely hard and focused and I usually don't worry about my strength but i was benching yesterday and my last set on bench was 245 for 7!!!! Are f'ing kidding me?!?! Then I go do legs today and my last set of squat was 315 for 6. I don't understand it, I mean I'm "off" rt now but even so that's really weak. I'm pretty much just ranting but does anyone else see this as a problem?

It's not about strength brother, but if you want to get stronger, you would just have to change your whole style of training. I'm strong for my size, but I'm small as hell, it's all about give and take. I'd love to be bigger, but I would rather be lean and strong and look good, I've just accepted the fact that I won't be "big"

Im extremely happy with the way I look and my build but sometimes it really embarrasing that a high school sr is benching more than me. Lol

It's all about the goal of your training. On some exercises I'm immensely strong. Others not so much. I really don't care. Less weight is less chance for injury.

This kind of thing used to really bother me. I had to remind myself of my goals which was to grow and get bigger. Being a long lanky ectomorph has made this difficult especially without the proper supps which added to my frustration at times. Just stay focused on your goals brother and the rest will fall into place. And that high school sr that's out benching you and the rest of the guys you see in the gym that are "stronger" than you will probably never be able to build a body like yours either!

Do what I do when you see guys lifting more...Just critique their form and you'll soon realize why they lift heavy, they're only doing half reps or have horrible form so it's only a matter of time before they suffer an injury

If you are the weakest 250lb bber I must be the weakest person. lol. Seriously though, don't let what other people lift get to you. Keep your head down, lift heavy weight, and you will get stronger. Focus on the long term and before you know it you'll be bigger and stronger. I see so many guys at the gym that lift heavier than I do, but I know I can't snap my fingers and just make it happen. So I just push it out of my mind, focus on training heavy and hard, and come back again the next time to do the same. I know if I dwell about what other guys are lifting or what I used to lift I will prevent myself from hitting my goals in the future.

good stuff my goal the past 5 months has been cutting and my strength has gone down some people are different with this and make strength gains on cut but not so with me. im seeing a noticible difference and i like results so even tho im not lifting as heavy im feel good about results and to me thats what matters.

I am weak as hell the last few weeks before a show, seriously 20lb dbs feel like 50s. I am nowhere near as strong as I used to be but I look better than I ever have. Also if you compete they are never going to ask how much you lift so don't worry. The weight I used to use was sick, sometimes I wish I could lift that heavy but it's nice to know I don't have to anymore.

Don't worry about moving weight brutha. You'll get back at it soon. I'm weak as hell right now after my clen and t3 run but I look better. Plus I like making 30lb db feel like 50lbs.

Plus we'll be perfect if we make it for a workout when I'm in Dallas! We can push the hell out of each other because I lift alone most of the time and cindee is still learning how to be a workout partner.

Thanks for positive posts! Like I said I have never really let this bother me before but for some reason it really got to me this weekend. I agree 100% with all of you about it's how I look not the weight I use. It's about time to start tightening up the diet and hitting cardio so my physique will be doing the talking soon. Thx again!!

Look at it this way man, if bodybuilders were as strong as they look they'd be powerlifters. Plain and simple.

Very few bigger bodybuilders are as strong as they appear. I mean I'm by no means saying they aren't strong, but pound for pound, they're not as strong as you'd imagine.

Bell, don't worry the weight as long as your physique is improving. We can't ALL be Ronnie Coleman's, Kevin Levrone's, or Branch Warren's no matter what kind or what amount of supps we take. It's all relative and your body doesn't know the difference as long as it's heavy for YOU. The weights you ARE lifting are OBVIOUSLY working b/c I've seen where you came from when you did your first show and the difference between then and now is CRAZY! I DO get your frustration, though. It's tough when you've been working out hard and consistently for YEARS and you see some highschool kid who probably only lifts occasionally for football or some other sport walk in and bench 315 for reps without even warming UP! lol Just remember it's your physique that does the "talking" when you are walking down the street and at your size I'm sure people THINK you bench in the 400's easily!

That's me, I want to look like I bench 400, I don't actually want to fucking do it. I look like I can squat 500 but be a cold day in hell before I get under a squat bar. I've done the, jackass strong thing, PowerCleans, PowerSnatch, Deadlifting the fucking world. To hell with that, I wana look like I play ball, but don't ask me hit anybody. I break into peaces. LMAO. Mb97, you look great and I have seen your leg workout. You one balls out leg working mofo. I'm lucky, my genetics I have great legs and put the time in when I was young. So I don't have to kill my legs. But damn you work legs hard.

Don't feel bad, you're actually the 2nd weakest 250Lb bodybuilder. My lifts are less than yours, and my avitar is actually me right now. Hahaha...but who cares about strength. Looks are all that matter. As long as you can pick up a girl and carry her into the bedroom, you're good to go. :D
