Does anyone still take this stuff? It used to be all the rage years ago but seems to have fallen off the map more recently.

I used to years ago, if I can remember correctly I think all it did was help me sleep better, but it does have zinc so some think it may at least help with not getting sick

I take it and love it... Studies are super inconclusive as to rather it has any benefit other then enhanced, deeper sleep and that is all I take it for. It gives me some seriously crazy dreams though. Very vivid dreams. I have a lot of people that swear by it and use it constantly. I've only tried it off and on for a couple months but I will admit the sleep is great.

I'll second that. ZMA is fantastic for sleep - well, it's mainly the magnesium. A magnesium deficiency can cause anxiety, restlessness, and hyper sensitivity to noise (ie all things that disrupt deep sleep). I prefer ON brand ZMA because they put a little valerian in their formula with it to add to the sleep enhancement.

I think most add valerian I like Cell's as they add valerian, gaba, melatonin, and trib. plus it's clinically dosed (so is ON's so I'm sure it still very effective".

I tried valerian once. Every time I burped I could taste the nasty stuff.

Yeah one day kava kava just fell out of sight. Never bothered to look into a reason why as I never used it but I do recall it just fell off the shelf one day, never to return. I know NOW stills carries it.

Dymatize came out with a formula a few years ago called Z-force. Think it was zinc, magnesium and b6. Also had tribulus and NAC

Yeah pretty much every company has one lol zinc, mag, b6 would be the base to all of them. MP just came out with Z-core (to replace their ZMA) Max, GNC, Comp Nut, have like 3 different versions of their own brands lol, cell, ON... about 300 online companies... I've only used one and settled on it (because i got it free) and because it has GABA in it too and I am a fan of GABA. I was taking GABA alone up till that point.
