I was wondering which helps with pip more heat or cold?

heat , well if its an abscess then heat lol,

lol, heat dissipates the oil but also increases the swelling. Heat then Ice then maybe antibiotics

Also, Using Ibuprofen for the inflammation and pain will speed up recovery. Sever PIP is usually a Sterile Abscess which will dissipate with what has been mentioned in this thread. If the injection site continues to increase in redness, swelling and pain along with any discharge of pus from the site, then you're definitely going to need antibiotics. Severe cases like this will sometimes need to be lanced and drained as well which should only be done by your Doctor or local ER. The longer you let it get worse, the more extensive the treatment will need to be. A really bad abscess can put you in the hospital for days!! Ask Presser. He was in for a week with a swollen ass...... :moon:

yeah I been living on Ibuprofen the past week or so, it works great for inflammation and reducing fever and pain! Aleve aka Naproxen for some reason never does shit for me,
