    Default Insulin users and experiences

Seems alot of inexperienced guys are using insulin. How many of you have used it? I see it hyped all over the Internet saying it's the most anabolic hormone... makes you strong blah blah blah... I used it on and off for years and it didn't do crap but make me fat and put more effort into my diet than I had to. I was up to using 10iu twice a day... total garbage. The pumps are no where near what I get WITH IGF and no matter how clean I eat I smooth over. What do you guys think?? To me it's kind of like all the hype years ago about clen being anabolic... another over rated over hyped product. I think quite frankly clen is useful precontest to alternate with ECA which for me is far more effective.
If you've used insulin what type and dose did you use? I've used Humalog and Humalin R.

Seems pretty hit and miss from what I've read. Some people blow up and others get fat and feel like shit.

Jerry Ward did a good video on this in his members videos section of his website about how insulin didn't work for him as he was already naturally insulin sensitive.

It worked really well for me and I've been thinking about adding it in for a quick 4 week hitter currently. It's hard for me to bust 285 pounds without it and with it I can cruise on up over 300 fairly easily and not like a pig either. I would kill a workout then pin it and eat right then all within 15 min of my workout. I can feel the shit working it feels like I'm growing just sitting there chewing my food. If you are receptive to it and learn to use insulin it is the missing link to getting absolutely massive if that's where you want to go. Once again just like any other compound you put in your body you wont have the same reaction as others.

Okay, here's the thing with insulin... For starters, you don't want to be on it without HGH. It is definitely one of the kings of anabolic hormones, but at the same time, it does preferentially cause fat storage on its own. The real key to using insulin to really grow isn't so much insulin itself but how it works in conjunction with a couple of other hormones. We understand and accept that IGF-1 is awesome for building muscle, but the reason you want HGH while you're using insulin is very particular. HGH has an effect on thyroid hormone production and causes the conversion of T4 to T3 to increase. IGF-1 does not have the same effect. (IGF-1 causes fat loss through a different mechanism.) HGH turns on lipolytic action in adipose tissue while there are no receptors for IGF-1 in adipose tissue. This is why you need HGH with insulin. The fat loss effect through increased T3 production and increased lipolysis allows you to take in more calories to build into lean mass while burning fat stores at the same time. The real key to using these components correctly however is realize that your body only has a limited amount of T4 to turn into T3. This means that this fat loss/muscle gain effect will slow down and stop after a few weeks as your T4 stores are depleted. To combat this, you must supplement with T4 to continue supplying the conversion to T3. This last step is crucial to the process and leaving it out is why many don't get the best gains with their HGH/insulin cycles.

As for my personal experience, sadly, I didn't know any of this when I attempted my cycles of insulin. I always seemed to have either HGH or I had insulin and couldn't seem to get them both at the same time. I used Humalog for my cycles, worked my way up to 12iu/day. Ended up gaining both muscle and fat but not a lot of either. (I didn't know of the availability of Humulin being over the counter at the time.) Only now having been recently diagnosed with a genetic disorder, hemochromatosis, I've had to start supplementing with T3 due to hypothyroid effects, and it was my research on thyroid and its relationship with HGH where I found the above information. I also have an Rx for T4. Due to my IGF-1 levels going low, I'll be seeing a doctor shortly about an Rx for HGH. I hope to get an Rx and then be able to have all the components in place.

From the research I have been doing lately. It seems like the most effective way to use slin is pre-WO with the least amount of BAD sides, mainly fat gain. Keeping the doses lower as well.

I have used humalog in the past and did it Post-WO and I gained more noticeably fat and less noticeably muscle. This was years ago, and again I am looking more in-depth again but PRE-WO seems to be the way to go. I don't like giving too much advice on slin use for obvious reasons but look into it if you don't believe me.

Lastly, since humalog is harder to get and humalin R is readily available most will go for what is easiest. However we know we don't want to watch out insulin levels all day long and only really want it to last in the situation I am describing... Pre-WO to Intra-WO to about and hour Post-WO. So I after more research and hearing from a very knowledgable doctor... he suggested (but has proof in bloodwork) wink wink, that humalin-R if injected IM would roughly be the same release time and humalog done sub-q. I have also heard a few others verify this as well.

These are my findings as of recently. But don't listen to me and kill yourself (disclaimer)

ive used humalin 6 and used it preworkout, and even though i was well read and well versed on all things insulin prior to using it for some fucking reason i thought to myself, well i have superior genes lol, i can eat a little dirty, it wont effect me like it does everyone else , lol, wel my dumb ass added fat real fast in my mid section lmao, i was super lean at the time and thought i could get away with not eating so clean on insulin, and man was i wrong lol,

so yeah i never used it again,

I was the same way. . I thought having the genetics to pretty much eat how I wanted would afford me some wiggle room in the diet.. several times I would do 10iu post workout and hit up a buffet and gorge myself. Now I prefer to stick with things that are a little easier and fool proof... lately I've done up to 150mcg of MC IGF in 2 or 3 bodyparts on days where I'm not motivated or bodyparts that I don't get excited about and that massive full body pump really gets me going again. Maybe insulin works in the situation that BigZ described, but for me there is no comparison to IGF and there's no risk. But it's cheap... so you'll still have some.of the kids doing it I guess which is going to give bodybuilding a real black eye when one of them dies.. it's going to happen

It's like the high school kids that put 150hp nitrous kits on their Honda's... it's cheap and promises them instant results... and then it turns everything to scrap
