I'm considering enrolling in the PA program locally to be a physician's assistant. In most states a PA can write anything an MD can write. I want to set up my own practice and have a Dr on staff working for me. How many of you would jump through the hoops just to have a script just in case something comes up? I know alot of people don't have actual insurance or a stellar Obama care policy with a 5k deductible. I'm just curious as to what the mind set it out there now.

Nurse Practitioners are the only ones to write scripts as well Doctors out here, and There a lot of clinics set up by money men who hire doctors to run the show, thats what most of the rejuvenation clinics were and still are

That's the way it was here... well with Nurse Practitioners. They had to have certifications in a specific practice first though. The way it was explained to me is that PA's have more schooling and in most states can also write scripts for controlled substances. Florida and a couple others were the only exceptions. My old "Doctor" was a PA and he hired Doctors to work at his practice, but no longer has to due to the new regulations. I would like to run my own clinic and that's my goal, but I've got one more year before I can apply and then 2 years in PA school. At a cost of 65k. I would think most serious athletes would like to see some one that shares their outlook. I'm sure Marijuana will be legal by then as well. I know alot of people don't have very good insurance and it seems like steroids and such are no longer the hot topic for LE.

Bro, if you can obtain your license or certifications, or school credits to become legally able to open up your own clinic, and write scripts then I say GO FOR IT!

As long as you play within the rules you could do well owning your own practice! I also just seen a new sponsor over at Promuscle her name is Dr Kim and she specializes in Hormones, and I guess she is a Paying Sponsor there now, so maybe she is like what your talking about, her web address is:

I have a script for test-cyp and have a few bottles in the house. I use UG gear because it is dosed twice as high and is half as thick. So I use less liquid AND that liquid is thinner.

I would do anything to try to get legal scripts.. As it has been stated before government is looking for easy slam dunk cases. When you are fill a legal script, with a good lawyer is gets very murky.

A lawyer said it gives them a fighting chance!!

I just don't want to shell out a silly amount of cash for a consultation to be told no...... I'd be willing to pay double what I'm paying to be legally secure. I

I would absolutely go for the scripts. I've had my test cyp script for 17 years now, but I could use one for HGH, deca (because being on test cyp so long destroys the joints), and halotestin. I've tested officially low for IGF-1 (which also means HGH is low), but again the endocrinologist I went to would not prescribe me HGH, and insurance will only cover it if the script is written by an endocrinologist, no primary care docs. I had a script for the halos a few years back written by a nurse practitioner who was supervising all my endocrine needs. Had everything I needed then. The practice was shut down and closed not because of the nurse practitioner prescribing hormone regimens but due to the _doctor_ dealing in recreational type drugs/pain relievers. Needless to say I was pissed because it is damn hard to find an understanding doc in my area. They'll prescribe paxil or some other nasty drug in a heartbeat, but when it comes to hormones that the body naturally produces, they won't do it. That is just backwards and wrong.

halotestin script, no kidding! Yeah you found yourself a good doctor then, and yeah the lure of big cash money payments for doctors to write pain pills has gotten a lot of doctors in trouble, mainly in Florida,

Ya the pain pull stuff got alot of people in trouble. Personally I would do only cosmetic, sports medicine, and HRT / Anti aging. I think there's a huge market for it. Quite frankly if the blood test puts you in a range where it can be prescribed I think it should be. Everyone deserves to feel their best. I'm getting with my advisor tomorrow to make sure I'm on the right track. I've taken most of the advanced sciences. I'm really happy about it. School is beating me down, but if not everyone would do it
