Protein drink pre workout?

Does anyone do a protein drink pre workout to load up before? Was thinking about that but now sure if that would even make a difference.

I drink a carb drink before training, like the old carbo force , and then when I get to gym, I sip on a 50/50 carb/protien drink throughout workout, not always the one during training though, but yeah always one before training
 
A lot of people swear by peri workout nutrition ( yes I am one of them). Peptopro and HBCD ( I prefer glycofuse kiwi strawberry) preworkout and during as well.
 
Thanks for the input guys. I will add a pre workout drink to my routine. It does make a lot of since when you think about it.
 
Protein shakes sit too heavy for me. Except maybe isolate. I use a dextrose and amino acid mix.
 
It cant hurt any, thats for sure.
Normally, I just throw BCAA's and Creatine into my water bottle and drink it while I lift.
 
If I eat or drink anything within a hour of working out, I spend more time trying not to puke than anything.
 
I take some creatine, 3000mcg sublingual B12, and caffeine pre workout if I train at 0500. On weekends if I train later at 0800 I’ll have a protein meal and a little carbs 2 hours prior to training. I usually sip BCAA’s throughout my workout.
