One of the most commonly fakes steroids is oxandrolone aka Anavar. Why is this? It's not a very strong anabolic and results you get are not dramatic, so why would this be counterfeited a lot?? The answer is money! Real oxandrolone is expensive to synthesize bc of the oxygen atom in the A ring of the structure. This increases prices across the board. Oxandrolone can be up to $10k a kilo, vs winstrol or Dbol or even methyltest which can be as low as a few hundred dollars a kilo.
Real Anavar from a pharmacy can cost up to $10/pill! So when you think you're buying Anavar at $1/pill, think again. Most guys won't notice the difference, bc they are usually taking several other compounds. This mostly affects WOMEN who think they are taking Anavar when they are probably taking winstrol or something cheap. If you go to a local bikini show and see girls with manly faces/features, they most likely bought fake Anavar.
