I did my first injection of Test Cyp in my glute and it feels like a bruise after 48 hours.
I am reading a lot that means the test is bunk.
Should I be concerned or is this normal and I just need to shut up and deal with the soreness?
I got the test through a friend who has been using it for a couple months and he says that’s what happens. I just want to be sure because I get conflicting answers when I look online. Some people say it’s normal and some say there should be zero pain.
Thanks.

Your first injections hurt no matter what. If it's good stuff that should stop after you get used to the injections. If it keeps on hurting, it doesn't so much mean that the test isn't good as much as there is too much of something in there that is causing the pain. I had one batch that hurt like hell for days and gave me "test flu" every time, but the test was good I could tell from the results.

Foam roll and massage. Ibuprofen helps a bit also. Inject slower next time. I have learned, at least for me, if I inject slowly there is less trauma to the muscle fibers you are injecting into. But on a side note sometimes its just how the gear is made. A higher alcohol content=pain no matter what. Old School T400 from the early 2000's felt like a fucking horse kicked you after an injection. Like fucking cement in a syringe.

First injection ever ALWAYS hurts! I remember my first.. got so sore that I could not sleep on the side my doc injected. Once your body gets used to processing the ester from the steroid, it will start to be relatively painless.

You probably didn't go deep enough. The deeper in the muscle belly you go and the slower you inject, the less pain will be there afterward. Immediately take a hot shower or bath after inject. That helps a lot. Also check the ethyl oleate content and see if it is over 10%. That can cause "test flu" or itchy irritation as well at the inject site.

I have also started applying some dmso after and it seems to help move the oil out into the muscle belly and not knot up.

For me, it was a TRT shot (Pharm testosterone) in the glutes, my doc went all the way in, and it still really hurt so even regular pharmacy testosterone can give you pain. If it's your first shot ever, it's going to hurt no matter what, Pharma test or UGL test.

Thanks for the responses, I have done a few shots now and none of them had as much pain as that first one. The last one I did there was zero pain.
