Cedric McMillian Remembered

Muscular Development Media Vintage Special Tribute

by MD Online Editor Ron Harris

On Tuesday, April 12, Cedric McMillian passed suddenly at just 44 years old.

From the time he turned Pro with a sweeping win at the 2009 NPC Nationals, the bodybuilding world knew there was something special and unique about this man. At 6-2 and 270 pounds, many compared him to a modern-day version of Arnold Schwarzenegger, with classic shape and proportions that harkened back to an era when aesthetics and beauty were equally revered as mass. Even Cedric's posing style brought back an Old School feel, showcasing the physique as a living work of art.

Cedric would go on to win 8 Pro contests including the 2017 Arnold Classic. We at MD salute this legendary bodybuilder, US Army soldier, and dedicated family man and honor his memory with this special video series.

May he rest in peace. His legacy will live on forever in our hearts.
