Scottish Games Results**update w/ videos**
They went great. They split everyone up into classes based on experience, so I entered the C class which is the beginners. I ended up winning every event and my numbers were good enough to have beat all the B level athletes as well in every event except the two Stone throws. There was a guy there that was a shot putter and he could launch that thing a mile.
It was cool for the two throws for height everyone gets three attempts at each height and those that don't go over are out when the bar is raised. there were two guys there that were A's and When the bar got up to the last height it was them and myself left throwing. Felt pretty good to be a lowly little C hangin with the big boys. Needless to say they will not be allowing me to compete as a C next year at those games.

Breamar stone (It was a big ugly stone over 20#)- 25'3"(can't remember for sure on this one.)
Open Stone (smaller 16# stone)-34'6"
56# weight for distance-28'11">>PR
28# weight for distance-56'9">>PR
Caber-11:30,12,12>>>12 is a perfect score. Got the 11:30 cause I crewed up and started walking away before the caber turned over on the first toss.
Sheaf toss over bar (heavy heavy sheaf 26#, usually they are 16# or twenty pounds)-Went over 17' and then three scratches at 19'
56# weight over bar-Cleared 13' and three scratches at 14', 14 was the highest throw of the day and only one of the A's made that height.
I have a video clip for each event and I will post them as soon as I can, I need to go through them first and upload them to my yahoo page first.
