...and if any boys happen to read this post, try to be mature,m'kay?
Try real hard...
{grin}
Anyway, I have a very real problem - a problem which, at first read, won't sound like a problem, but it really is! - and I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience...
Hanging leg raises: a great abdominal exercise. One of the best. A "staple" move on ab day, right? Right.
Well...
Obviously, when I train, I want to get the most bang for my buck. I want to do all the best, most effective exercises.
On ab day, I would LOVE to be able to do hanging leg raises, but I have this problem which prevents me from incoporating them into my routine...
When I do hanging leg raises - whether I'm hanging from a chin-up bar, or using the Roman chair - AND on the rare occasion that I do chin-ups I have a little something happen...
Um...
Okay, I'll just come out and say it - and I promise this really happens and I'm not just saying it to be crude or to get a reaction...
I actually have an orgasm.
I'm serious.
I can't figure out why. I'll do my first set of ten, and feel something "building." By the end of my second set of ten, I am in full toe-curling agony (not sure if "agony" is the best word... but it's really hard to maintain a straight face in public when this is happening!!).
Based on the fact that it occurs both during leg raises and chins, I'm thinking that it happens because my whole body is tensed up. I mean, there's not really any "stimulation" happening, you know? I know, some have suggested that the seam in my shorts might be er... rubbing... but when I'm doing a chin, my legs aren't moving, so... ???
Please tell me that someone else has experienced something like this? Or heard of it? Or something????
Honestly, I know that some are going to think it sounds like a blessing, but think about it: I really can't actually DO hanging leg raises. After my second set, I'm kind of "done" for the day, ifyaknowwhatimean. And generally, I'm too embarrassed to even attmept them. So I'm missing out on a very key training tool. Plus I have to wonder how good I am at masking my facial expression when "it" happens. I mean, how embarrassing...
This has plagued me for years, and I just wonder if it happens to anyone else.
'k, don't laugh.
Stop laughing!!!
Anyone?
