Any of you women ever compete?

Just wondering if any of you have competed. Presser was just in a show and it was so inspiring for me that now I'm seriously interested in trying it myself. Any input would be great. I'm interested in Fitness and figure.

Fly I think you should go for it, that way if you ever look back when your older, you won't be disappointed for taking home that trophy that's bigger then Presser's hardware...lol

Hardware meaning his trophies...lol

I think you should go for it Spanishfly...If I had that motivation, and if I felt like I looked like I could compete I would...but if you feel strongly about it..you should go for it. I think you look great in your pictures by the way...I think you would do a great job...

I was thinking of competing in like 2 years. I'm only 23 now, and I want to achieve a lot before I even consider doing it. But I saw your pictures on the members section, and I think you would do a great job Spanishfly. I say go for it!!

Where''s the best place to order a suit? I'm really pressed for time. I just want a wet look black two piece. I'm going to put my own rhinestones on it. I'm concerned b/c I really small chested (A) and now I pretty much lost that and I'm tiny. I would probably need an XS. Also is there a site that has pics of posing for figure. Thanks!!

are clear heels the norm for fitness? also, is there a site that shows examples of the relaxed and all the other poses??

sg-I'm from the east coast. I have been practicing my quarter turns--they are tough. as for the routine...its coming along...i need work though. Do you order your shoes on line, if so what site? Do you get the thin heels or the chunkier ones?

Just an update.......I took first in the Spape and Fitness, 2nd in the Women's Novice and 3rd in the women's open light weight. I loved every minute of the stage.....what a rush!!! Not too shabby for my first show!! I'm so hooked now. Can't wait to do it again.

I know!!! You and your wife were there! Wish I had a chance to meet you two. Thanks for the compliment---I had such a great time. I can't wait til the next one in april.

SG--I just wore a plain black posing suit. wet look nothing big. I have alot of pics....maybe I'll post a few!! Next time--April--I will be much more prepared! It was all a last minute thing but I pulled it together pretty well!! I'm just proud that I didn't wuss out. All those people and all!!! LOL!!
