Time Off = Good

Man I just went back to the gym today after a couple week rest. I was burnt out after training for a fight and really needed to relax awhile. I was feeling super lazy and had to drag my ass in the gym this morning, but once I warmed up I felt awesome. Haven't felt this strong naturally in ages. I feel focused and glad i took that time.
 
I'm dying to take some time off. Just the damn mental thing. I can never do it. I know it's good for you and helps you come back stronger, but I just can't do it. I go twice a day (cardio in the AM). If I don't go, I feel miserable.
 
I took a couple days off last week due to an injury (very minor). I felt like sh!t not being at the gym, I was kinda depressed. When I got back in there it was kinda hard to get started but when I got all warmed up I felt like a million bucks! I'm 'bout to finish up the cycle I'm on then have a little more time off. I cant wait until the week and a half I'll be taking off this coming summer in Cancun! Gives me special motivation right now.
 
I took about a month off guys...and come back not strong, but really had been at it for about 7 months straight.....and needed the time off...so a whole month really staggered me but it did feel good to get away....
 
good to hear bro.. sometimes it's nice to take a week off.. the first couple days makes me feel like i'm missing sometrhing..nice couple are nice and quit.. then the last couple i need to get back in because i miss it..
