Protein Bars

Since we were talking about powder before I was curious what bars you bros were using. This may very well have been a recent topic, if so sorry.

I get mine from Costco. They're the Premier Protein bars. 31 grams for the peanut butter and yogurt peanut and 30 grams of protein for the double chocolate. Eat 3-4 of those damn things a day. Getting real sick of the yogurt peanut flavor.

hey, how much do u spend on protein bars? 3-4 is a lot..........

I like optimum, and natures best......, Annyone try the new prolab caramel flavor.... talk about delicious but it has a lot of sugar.......

92 cents a bar. Weekly trips to costco for chicken breasts, albacore tuna, peanut butter from peanuts and so forth. Diet can be expensive as we all know. I cant get as many shakes in as I'd like, that's why so many bars. Much more convenient.

Iam hitting the protein bars hard this cycle coming up,
wheres the cheapest place to get them.

As I've noted above, Costco carries protein bars. 92 cents is pretty cheap and they have 30-31 grams of protein. I haven't seen anyting else that even compares to the value. They taste okay too. Premier Protein is what they call themselves, well not the bars - the company. You get the picture.

Make your own! There are some recipes on the recipes forum. That way you know what you're getting, too, unlike some of the protein bar companies. BTW, WalMart is stopping carrying some of their protein bars, and has them on clearance now (across the country, I believe).

I agree with Al, make your own, you will save a fortune, there are already a few in the recipe forum, I have a few more recipes somewhere that I will post in a few days.
