I tried to type in type in that password, but it keeps popping up the box to type in the password again.

Also the site is running very slow for me, maybe that is what is wrong.

I got it downloaded. I will convert it to html and post the whole book on a free site like geocities or something. The adobe .pdf version is kinda hard to read. They didn't do the best job with it.
