The only one I struggled with was:

7. John likes 400 but not 300; he likes 100 but not 99; he likes 2500 but not 2400. Which does he like?
a) 900
b) 1000
c) 1100
d) 1200

Can anyone explain this one to me? I ran through all the mathematical possiblities I could think of, and I know there's an easy answer, and it's driving me nuts. I know it's either b) or c), but don't know which one.

Also, there's 40 questions, but are the questions questions weighted differently? If not, 140 would be a perfect score and each question would be worth 3.5 points each...
But then again weird al's scored 144 so that can't be right... anybody ever buy the actual report that explains the scoring?

those are all squares (i.e. 20x20 = 400, 10x10 = 100, 50x50 = 2500, 30x30 = 900).

There are a bunch of different kinds of iq tests... several of the most common ones have top scores of either 144 or 145. Not sure about this one. There were a couple that I wasn't sure about, and I'm not sure if I got them right or not (which shape doesn't belong). I'd like to see a key for this as well, but keys are usually pretty closely guarded.
