how long did it take for you guys to pop the question---the queen of hearts has been around for 7 months on and off and pretty steady the last 3---but everything feels right with her--the connection we have is like nothing i have felt before---so i am kind of torn---i can see myself growing old with this one but am still jaded about women in general

Well it only took me 2 months! She said yes and here we are 13 years and three kids later having the time of our lives. But we dated "steady" for 1 1/2 years before we married.

Around a year before I asked. By then the newness wears off of the relationship and what you are left with will be the way it is, pretty much, from there on out. A good real of thumb is, If you can take a 12 hour road trip being in the same car with that person and not want to kill them by the end of the trip then they are pretty good.

About a year. We just had our 8 year wedding anniversary on Dec. 29. Got two beautiful 4 year old girls to go with it. I wouldn't change a thing! Best of luck to you!! If you are both strong and love each other than the two of you can make it through anything. Sometimes it's hard to trust people but if she's the one than you will know it just by looking in her eyes and seeing yourself as an old man standing strong with her by your side. Sorry this is so long but my family is my everything, like I said best of luck to you!!!

I think it depends on how well you get along. My workout partner dated this girl for 9 years they got married and it lasted 9 months. So you never know.

I dated mine all through college then strayed for a year and came back and begged for forgiveness. In total ~ 6 yrs been married for 9 now.

Oh, and I am positive I picked the right one!

A year and a half but during that time we never discussed the topic, The topic was brought up and 2 months later we were engaged and married 7 months later. It has ow been a year and a half and we have a beautiful girl who means the world to us. If you feel its right in your heart don't question it, but go for it. Good Luck!!!

dated two months and then i kept telling her i was gonna marry her and she said when. i said pisk a date. we married two months later. f the engagement shit. just did it. now together 11 years. ups and downs but overall we are very happy.

Dated for about 3 months asked her semi jokingly, ,she said yes 3 months later i propsed with the ring and everything is great so far only going on my second year this year compared to the 11yr+ doesn't llok like much but i've never been happier.

8 months...

she has 3 kids, and we took a vacation this past year, 38 hours in the car one way! i didn't lose my mind...after that i knew it was meant to be!
