Butt Workout How to Get Glorious Glutes!

For men and women

There are two types of guys in this world: guys who like breasts and guys who like butts.

We all know the only way to get really big breasts is through enhancement surgery known as breast augmentation. That's a real drag, considering how dangerous and expensive it is. To some of us, it's all worth it, but to others it's just too risky, undesirable and unnatural.

Let's talk about butts! To have the perfect round, hard melon shaped bottom you don't have to have anything implanted! Thank god! We can all have fabulous posteriors! All it takes is a little simple exercise, consistency and proper eating habits. Why be one of those people who always wishes that they had a great behind, when you can have one! So, let's get to it!

Deep Bucket Squats:

You can do these on a Smith Machine or under a regular squat rack. The deeper you go, the more you will work your gluts. Keep your heels planted and push off when you come up, breathing out as you do. You want to start light and work your way up to heavier weights. Two warm-up sets of 15 reps each and four sets of 12-15 reps. This totals six reps.

Lunges:

You can do these on the Smith Machine, under a squat rack or with dumbbells. Lunges work your gluts and hamstrings and front of the thigh. Lunges are essential to having full hard gluts. You can do six alternating reps on each leg. This is so that neither leg gets too tired or stressed. When doing lunges, make sure that the lead foot is lunging out heel flat, knee bent in front of you so that you can't see your toes. The back leg meanwhile, is almost straight and as you come down it should almost touch the floor. While lunging forward, your back foot should be resting on the ball of your foot. One warm-up set, ten reps for each leg and three sets of 8-10 reps per leg. This totals four sets.

Leg Curls:

You can do these on the lying leg curl or standing leg curl machine. This exercise helps develop the hamstrings, which is very important for having a nice butt. Remember to contract the hamstring muscle at the completion of each rep. Do not to rest your feet on your butt after each rep! One warm-up set of 15 reps and three sets of 10-12 reps. This totals four sets. You can also do Straight Leg Deadlifts to work the hamstrings as an occasional alternative.

Leg Extensions:

Done on a leg extension machine to define and shape the frontal thighs. There is no need to go heavy when doing leg extensions, but you must remember to squeeze or contract your quads when they are locked out. Make sure you don't rise off the seat while doing this exercise. Once you have contracted the quads, lower the weight until your feet are further back than your knees and your thighs are fully stretched. One warm-up set of 15 reps and three sets of 10-12 reps. This totals four sets.

Do these exercises once or twice a week along with the Stairmaster three times a week for 20-30 minutes and you will be on your way to having a perfectly rounded hiney.

just dont b fat and u will have a glorious butt....it may b rude but i only speak the truth........well sometimes.
 
I guess it's all a matter of personal opinion, but I have seen a lot of skinny girls with really flat butts.  I personally don't think saggy flat butts are that attractive.  I think just like the article states, that you can develop the muscles to make a better looking bottom, but  I think a good looking bottom depends somewhat on genetic factors, too.  My husband says that there are some women who have waists that narrow in and curve out at the hips and bottom.  (nice) and there are some women who have really thick waists and their hips seem to start in the back at the waist  and just blend down to their bottom with no real definition.  I think this is a genetic factor.  This type of female shape gets skinny and has no curves and a flat butt - not all that attractive.  Anyway, I think you can always improve your appearance through working out, but I think some people genetically will have certain attributes that other people won't have no matter how they try to work at it.    -It's kind of like with guys how some guys are just broader shouldered and will gain and carry muscle easier than guys who have a narrower skeletal form.

Deja anything is attainable with enough ambition, even a phat ass. I was a skinny loser with a flat butt, now I got a rock hard ghetto booty. LIMITS ARE FOR LOSER!!!!
 
That is so cool...the guy who is 5'2" is going to be so happy to know that he can grow 8" taller because he wants it bad enough!  :biggrin:

I'm just kidding, Wilknights.   <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->   I hear what you are saying and my response was in reply to dedprez's comment that all you have to do is be skinny to have a great butt.  In my comment I said that you CAN develop the muscles to make it better looking...I just added that some things depend on genetics as well, and in that I was referring more to the overall shape of a particular woman and how everything looks a little different on each person because of their skeletal make-up being different.   I'm all for being the best you can be.
