post workout carbs

I have a question about post workout carbs during a competition diet. Let's assume you are lifting 4 days a week, and doing cardio 6 days a week during your competition diet (cardio mornings, lifting afternoon or evening). Do drink a simple carb post-workout shake after both cardio and lifting on your lifting days, or only after lifting? On the non-lifting days, do you drink the shake after cardio?

It depends... If you are right on track with weight and bf, then post workout carbs would be ok IMO. If you are still a ways from looking like you want, I'd kill 'em.

just kiddin buddy! but i agree with bstrongbwell, what i do after i drop the drink is have a meal salmon and sweet potatoe ready to eat at the gym or on the way home!
