I started tanning today. I'm starting in the Ultra Bronzer. It will provide a good base tan in only three or four 24 minute sessions. Then you simply go once a week to maintain. I'm tanning for competition so I'll be getting much darker than what most people go for. Has anyone else tried this? How did you like it? I've noticed some results from only one session so far.
I've also heard about a new spray on tanning procedure. Anyone know anything about this?

when i get ready for a show i go to tanning bed 6 days a week

and days i'm off and its sunny i lay in the sun instead. The real sun does alot more for me it draws more water out of the skin

I feel natural sun is the best but depending on where you live you can't always get it. Here in South Florida, it is always nice.

Yeah I agree that you will need to go almost everyday before a contest and you will still have to use pro-tan.

Tanning beds get me only so dark. The sun is your best bet but it takes longer and your latitiude dictates when you can use it. The sun also gives me a more desirable deep reddish brown color.

The spray on tan looks good, almost natural. It is expensive though---$16 each time. You shouldn't get wet or sweat a lot for 4 hours after.
