View Full Version : Post Cycle Workout Intensity?

I have heard two different things:

1) post cycle, one should keep up the intensity of the workout in an effort to keep all of the strength/weight earned on cycle.

And 2) post cycle, one should cut back on the intensity of the workout so that the body can adapt accordingly, being that the cycle is now over and there is no more gear being used.

What do you all think? My plan is to keep up the intensity. I workout 4 days a week (actually 5 days because I work chest twice a week but only 10 working sets total/week for chest). I am interested in everyone's take on this and their experience with post cycle workouts. Thanks!

I WOULD LOWER INTENSITY JUST A LITTLE, YOUR BODY SHOULD WELCOME THE BREAK,WHILE TRYING TO NORMALIZE IT'S HORMONE LEVELS

Or what you could do is, try choice #1 for your current cycle and try choice #2 for your second cycle. You know your body better than anyone here. So stick with what works! good luck

My intensity suffers as well, it sucks. I will usually lift 4-5 days a week on and only 3 days a week off.

Shit man, I just take a little higher dose of ECA and try to crank it up a notch....I figure that without the gear I'll have to work even harder to maintain what I've gained
