Can't keep a pump

Man, I know you guys got to be sick of seeing my name as the thread starter in this forum, but here's another one. Tonight I trained tri's, bi's and forearms. I couldn't keep a pump at all. I rest about one minute between sets. During that minute Id almost completely lose my pump. And even right after a set was done I didn't feel the normal skin splitting tightness I'm used to. Is this common during pre-contest? Thanks for all the help and answers bros. I'll definitely owe you all.

calorie deprivation bro! Your muscle glycogen levels are low. I don't know how far out you are or how good to go you are with respect to getting ready for your show, but it's ok to have a cheat meal IMO. Carb up with some pasta and meatballs, bread and a salad for dinner tonight. Then, have an ommelette and oatmeal and a banana with peanut butter in the morning tomorrow about 1.5-2 hrs before the gym tomorrow in the am. That should get the motor running again. I've gone as far as pizza and wings and it really helped psychologically.

I'm 6 weeks away today. This morning I had a large bowl of cereal. And this after noon I had oatmeal before my leg training. It really helped! I think I'm on track to where I need to be. I've got deep seraration down the middle of my abs and the horizontal lines are coming along. I can see cuts between the quadriceps muscles.

At 6-weeks, I'd stay away from the cheats...it's down to last little bit bro. Just hang in and try to remember that the pre-show carbup will be just what the doc ordered.

I went to go get the bodyfat measured last Thursday. As I was waiting to have it done some fucking clown was screwing with the machine and broke it. Hopefully I'll be able to get it done this Thursday. My guess would be somewhere between 5 and 6%. My vascularity is really coming out and I'm getting separation in my abs delts and quads. Starting last week I've been really trying to keep the sodium down.

sodium

dont cut it out yet >>>>>>>>> im mean use the salt in condiments and the like BUT i would be sodium free YET!

I was very low sodium last week and I thought that might have something to do with not being able to get a pump. As far as supllements go. I'm taking whey protein 3 or 4 times a day. I'll be starting Fina this week.

I mix with water. I'm also taking Hydroxycut 3 capsules 2x daily and multi-vitamin 2x daily and vitamin C 1000mg 2x daily.

sodium

What do you eat the last 5-7 days? It seems like everything has sodium in it even the protein I buy has 150mg per shake.

drop shakes

i would drop the shakes real quick! youll loose a ton a water there! i switch to fresh chicken and salmon!

Doesn't the high calories and fat of the salmon concern you? Just eat smaller portions? I'm already starving most of the time.

What is it about the shakes that makes you hold water? Would a lower sodium protein powder be acceptable? I hate to give up the shakes too soon because they're so damn convenient, quick and easy.

????????????????

tell me and will both know LOL....... No i think it has to do with the denatured processing of the whey, also your body has to work harder to propcess the whole foodS
