mich...welcome to the board....as far as taking a supplement...how is your energy level??try taking an ECA stack...ephedrine/caffeine/aspartame...it will boost your energy level and your bodys temp a bit and thus will cause your body to burn fat....also...i think i have an idea of what PCOS is..but anyways...try starting there and also...if you are not eating at all...that is totally wrong....try eating small, clean meals every few hours....you have to get your metabolism up and then you will definitely shed the pounds...try to go from there...any more questions feel free to ask...bye the way i am a guy...sorry..

definetly eat 5+ small meals a day, a lot of ladies make the mistake of not eating enough, frequently enough, or at all.

Look into an eca, like ripped fuel, xendrine, etc.

Hi Mich. I am new here also. As far as loosing weight and working out, I would definatley start eating 5 to six small meals a day. It seems like alot but it will boost your metabolism. As far as working out...start slow. If you like to walk you want to walk somewhere where there might be hills or use a treadmill and use the incline. Walking up hill will burn more calories. Also try lifting light weights. A combination of light weight lifting, cardio, and eating right will get you on the right track. Remember to take it slow at first!!!! Let me know how you are doing? If you have any more ????'s about workouts or weight training I would be happy to try to answer them!!

definetly look into weight training like sarbear suggested. I've read studies that weight training is more effective in burning fat in women than cardio.

ok my freind told me about ECA stacks.. ok where do i get these??? and at what dose... i hardly take anything so even if i take a tynelol or something it effects me more than others... so i dont wanna over do anything.. im going to the doc in a month or so to have a complete blood work done.. so i know what my body is lackin in etc.. so maybe when i get that info it will help... and im thinking about going and getttiong me some water pills... like direx or something like that too.. see what that does... anyways if anyone wants to email me... [email protected] ... or if anyone has yahoo im me anytime.. thanks everyone.. i will stay in touch cause im serious about this.. i wanna do it!!!

You can buy an eca stack at Walmart, the names of them would be ripped fuel, xenadrine (wally world also sells a knockoff of this one called xetreme lean.) stacker 2.

If your sensitive to medications start with just one pill before a meal, maybe only 2 a day until you get used to it.

I think small frequent meals and weight training are the two most important things for losing weight, as was said above. ECAs are good, NYC (norephedrine, yohimbine, caffeine) is good as well (yohimbine supposedly works well on fat that is estrogenic in origin). If you're holding water, it will probably help alot to really up your water intake to a gallon or more per day. Make sure you're taking in protein with every meal... The source of the carbohydrates can make a big difference, as well. Increasing the fiber in your diet can help alot, too.

Most important, though, is to make a plan and stick with it! If you want a book to read, I really like the book Body For Life - lot's of good info and success stories in it.

thanks everyone... keep the pointers comeing.... whats a good protein supplement.. im not a big meat eater... not much red meat at all.. no chicken.. and no eggs lol... might need a vitamin. but im taking notes on all this... im already starting it.. so thanks... and like i said keep it comein!!! :X

hi mich!!! You could probably go to a gym/GNC/Walmart any one. They usually carry protein drinks and powders that you can drink. Most of them have anywhere from 17 to 24 grams of protein and are not bad tasting. I sometimes drink one called PurePro...an ABB product...it has 24 grams of protein and tastes good too.
