- HELP, Does anybody know how to trace a phone call - ??

I've been getting some phone calls lately, and every time I pick up..the person he/she whosever calling me..just doesn't say anything and after 10-15 sec's hangs up on me.. I think someone's fucking with me and I wanna find out who it is. I think the call was made with a cell phone.. Caller ID & *69 can't give me the number..If I get calls again, should I notify the police..or..?
This has been pissing me off lately..and I'm getting paranoid.

Me and my wife get the same damn thing. I wish I could find out. I'd have their # on speed dial.

what u guys have to do is talkt to your phone company... and get caller ID... and on top of that make it so that people who block their number when calling u aren't able to get through...

in other words.. unless they allow your caller ID to get their number, they can't call u... We used to have that problem.. and now once we got that set up.. anyone who calls us HAS to give us their number...

Actually, I found some info regarding this issue. When a private number calls you, your callred id can't find out who it is, you dial star (*) and 57. The machine will transfer you to this special security place..where they will resolve the problem..however..they will never give you the caller's number.

maybe its someone trying to see make a log of when u are or arent home, seriously thats how alot of criminals rob folks

I would bet it is telemarketers, their dialers call all kinds of people at the same time, and sometimes there is never anyone available to take the call at their center.

I haven't had a telemarketer call since NY started that do not call registery. Best thing ever.
