My Wife Broke Her Leg.

My wife never learned how to ride a bike when she was a kid. On saturday I decided we should get mountain Bikes so we could trail ride this summer. Well I bought a 19' Gary Fisher-Wahoo for me that she could learn on. It was a little to big for her but I figured that once she learned we could buy her her own. Well sunday we took it out and damn if she didn't fall and bust her leg. She has 2 screws put in and will have to wear a cast for 3-4 months. What a crappy turn of events.

damn bro, that sucks, sorry to hear it, best wishes and rig her up a coathanger for scratching it with a cast on.

Jesus, sorry to hear that. I wore a cast for 3 months when I tore my achilles, longest 3 months of my life.

there's something to be said for training wheels......sorry to hear that man, will she try again?? Mountain biking's a kickass thing to do to keep in shape - and fun to do with your spouse as well....my wife ain't the fittest soul, so we're still working on it

she said she wants to try again once the cast is off. I need to get her a smaller bike though. And maybe one of those padded combat suites
