Sounds more like a slin size.....I would be afraid I'd break off that small a needle size if I injected intramuscularly

Why not 25g?? I can't even feel the 25 g 1 1/2" that I use most of the time

a 28g would be a larger slin pin, most small slin pins are 30g. For an inter-muscle injection you will be fine with the 25g, with the 28g you are starting to get a pretty slim pin, and your chances at breaking it off in your muscle are greater.
