Who played or plays sports in college

I played ball at Cal State Fullerton as some of you may or may not know and I wonder if any of you are playing or have played collegiate sports?

CAL state has a great Baseball team a fair basketball team and until they dropped the program after our Senior yearin 1992 they had a compatitive football program.

We played UCLA to a 21-17 halftime score and lost almost beat Georgia Junior year with a last minute drive that failed near the goal. And played them tough Senior year.

One of my goals as a business man if I achieve a certain level of success is to bring football back to that school. They built a brand new stadium for us as the program crumbled. We played one year there. Now they play some strange game where they kick the ball up and down the field and they cannot use their hands. I never really understood that.:D
 
That's great BG, hardly seems fair though with your temper and strength.

Did you tell your opponents, "Don't Make ME angry you wouldn't like me when I am angry!"

I played basketball for a small Div. I school for part of a season, had some major injuries, got aggravated that I wouldn't be able to play again, left the school, so I could go to a Technical college, and get a good job sooner.
 
Yeah, congrats to all of you for competing on the next level beyond high school. I knew I wanted to compete their and I went from SIU to Cali JC and then cal state.
 
I played strong and weak safety-Played semi pro ball here in Philly for 12years- stopped 2 years ago- Now just rough touch.
 
BG-Did you guys ever win your leagues championship? We went to the Championship game last year and lost, though I hardly played in that game due to a small injury and stupid coach.

What league was it in, that you played in Philly?
 
The league is called the Del-Val conference(stands for Delaware Valley) was 2 divisions of 7 teams so it was a 13 game schedule.
We won the championship 6 out of 7 years at one point- the last 2 years I played we were only a .500 team. I miss playing but I do enjoy being able to walk without moaning and groaning in the office.
 
I played Semi-pro for 4 years, fullback, work on Monday Morning was a biotch.
 
Yeah the day after certainly hurts. Having played from age 8 to 22 and then stopping for 10 years I think my body got a much needed rest. Now, I will just play a year at a time. This year I will play again. The questions is for what team though because our team broke up.

BG sounds like your in your mid 30's right?

Choke, what team did you play for and where at?
 
Speaking of football, i was channel flipping last night, and i saw this WFL i was like wtf. It looked like a bunch of midgets playing football. There is a national league for woman. Columbus, chicago and pitt r the only teams i heard of though.
 
New Jersey Jaguars out of Engelwood New Jersey. We were part of the Tri-State Atlantic Conference.
