Anyone been to Cancun, Mexico?

Me and a few buddies were thinking about heading down to Myrtle Beach this summer and then somone brought up that we should hit up Cancun since we already went to the beach for senior week.

How expensive would it be to spend a week there? Could we get away with spending $1,000 a peice? I think that's what I spent a senior week and had a blast.

We'll be hitting Senor Frogs and all the other joints there but I don't want to be broke afterwards

Never been to Cancun, but I've never heard anyone say they didn't have a good time.

Alright Bro...let me give ya the details here! First off Cancun is heaven beyond earth! I never had so much fun in my life...so many hot chiks and everyone we met and partied with were really cool!
I won the trip for 2 to Cancun 4days/3nights it was airfare, & hotel non-inclusive though. You want all-inclusive if you go b/c that way you get to eat/drink all you want at ur hotel! So we paid about $140 each to get all-inclusive!
I took about $800 with me and came home with about $30!!
The clubs are expensive there bro...ranging from $15-25each but some are all you can drink once you get in too!
Best clubs there are Daddy O's, Coco Bongo, LA Boom, and of course Senor Frogs is cool too!
We partied alot at the hotel for a bunch of people do....it's funny as hell we'd get to our hotel about 4am and there would be dominos & papa johns pizza guys there with already made pizzas $20 each...we got 2 every nite! LOL

Some more things I went in June and it was packed...tons of people everywhere!
Also, ride the buses they are cheap and take you almost anywhere...taxi's will rip you off!

Tip:

Don't try and buy anything off the undercover federali's on the beach at night... :baby: :dizzy:

ahh cancun my addiction. been the last 5 years in a row. 1 summer and 4 springbreaks.that being said. you can easily get away with $100 per day. most clubs are $25 to get in plus another $5 you'll have to tip the bartendrs to get drinks. give them $1 dollar and get drinks for your whole group.i doubt you'll eat 3 times a day while there. the liquid diet takes over. so lets say eat out twice a day $40 and go to 2 clubs per night $60. during the day you can buy a bottle and transfer the alcohol to a big water bottle. buy ice and soda from the pool bars.bottles of local vodka go for $9-$15 depending where you go. best day places are oasis and fat tuesdays.do you have an idea which hotel you're staying in?you're best bet might be to book the hotel online and get airfare separate. http://cancun.com/forum3/ thats a really good cancun forum. if you have any questions let me know. the worst thing about cancun is leaving. i get almost a withdrawl syndrome. symptoms include waking up in your own room wondering who's hotel room you are sleeping in,cancun day dreams, and a slight depression for the first week or two home. have fun bro

Go to a travel agent bro, they alway's have hookups and Their business has been hurting lately, They are eager to put together packages.

You should go to the Solymar. It's like the cheapest place to stay that is reasonable. For a week, I spent 1,200 bucks and wish I brought more spending cash (800+ on airfare and all-inclusive hotel at the Solymar, then 400 bones on whatever I wanted). You spend 20 or 25 bucks at the clubs for an all-you-can drink wrist band. If you're into hip-hop check out La Boom. If you into spanish type new wave BS then check out Coco Bongo. Senior Frogs is way over-rated.

Bottom line, I had about $400 to spend for the week and I ran dry towards the end. Bring $500+ (to spend) if possible.

Hey bro I went to cancun this year on spring break. I just went to the travel agent in the Huntington mall and they hooked me and my friends up with an all-inclusive hotel. It was about 1200 bucks. BJ nailed all the best clubs there. Women are beautiful and tanned. Pappa Johns pizza at 4 in the morn is great. Ask the locals there what Pappa John means... They will laugh... lol
